About:

Aji Dam Garden is a popular recreational park located near the Aji Dam, offering a beautiful blend of nature and relaxation for visitors. Aji Dam Garden is maintained by the Rajkot Municipal Corporation. In the amusement park of the Aji Dam Garden people can spend a nice time trying out the rides and eating snacks at the food courts. History:
The Aji Dam was constructed in the 1950s on the Aji River to provide water supply and irrigation to the region. The Aji Dam Garden was later developed as a recreational space to offer a green and serene environment for locals and tourists. The garden is maintained by the Rajkot Municipal Corporation and has become one of the most popular spots in the city for leisure and relaxation.

Mukti Dham:
Mukti dham is an electric crematorium located in Ramnath para area on the banks of the river Nyari. Mukti Dham has a library which houses books on spiritual and religious topics and can be read by the visitors. It has three Umbrella rest points which shelter the visitors from heat and rain. The pillars of umbrella rest points are decorated with statues of deities. Besides there are paintings and sculptures which depict various mythological events. There are step gardens in Mukti Dham which adds to the beauty of the place with its colourful flowers and tender shrubs.



Raiya Naka and Bedi Naka Gate:
The old fort built by Masum Khan, the Deputy Faudar of Junagadh in 1722 AD in Ramnath para area is in ruins. Only the gates of the fort still remain, of which the Raiya Naka and Bedi Naka were renovated by Sir Robert Bell Booth, the Chief Engineer of a British Agency in 1892. He built the three storied clock tower there.

Kaba Gandhi No Delo Rajkot is the place where the Great Indian Leader Mahatma Gandhi stayed during his stay in Rajkot in the early years of his life. Mahatma Gandhi father in the name of Karamchand Gandhi was also known as Kaba Gandhi. The name of the house has been derived form Gandhiji's father s name. Rampara Wildlife Sanctuary
The Rampara Wildlife Sanctuary in Rajkot was set up in the year 1988 by the Government, post its acquisition in the year 1975 by them. The Rampara Wildlife Sanctuary in Rajkot was granted the status of a reserve forest in the year of 1983. Prior to the year 1975, the Rampara Wildlife Sanctuary in Rajkot served as the shooting reserve that belonged to the former princely state of Wankaner also known as Central Saurashtra.Marked with fringes of hillocks around the bordering periphery of the arid shrubby plain land distinct with wild grass is the Rampara Wildlife Sanctuary. Hingolgadh Nature Education Sanctuary
Located in Jasdan Taluka of Rajkot District Hingolgadh Sanctuary is a green oasis in the dry plateau of Saurashtra. The Sanctuary is just 180 kms. away from Ahmedabad.
